Bicycle through Hunterdon County’s most picturesque farmlands and rolling hills
Save The Date - Friday October 16, 2020 - Sunday October 18, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to reimagine our October 18, 2020 (originally scheduled for 6/14/2020), THIRD annual in-person ride through the picturesque farmlands of Hunterdon County. We will instead host a Farmland Virtual Challenge Ride.
What does this mean for you? You will still be provided with 3 great routes to ride in Hunterdon County –
an easy, slightly undulating 15-mile route, fine for the casual rider;
a hillier, more challenging 30-mile route, suitable for intermediate riders;
or a challenging 62-mile (metric century) ride, with hillier and steeper grades for the more experienced rider
These routes will be unsupported.
However, as a virtual ride, you are not limited to these routes; feel free to bike as often and as far as you choose over the three days of the event. We have added a “Challenge” feature where you will be able to challenge yourself to achieve one or all three of these categories over the weekend by: 1) riding the most mileage, 2) spending the most time in your saddle; and/or 3) climbing the most elevation.
Each rider will share their achievements by uploading their information to BikeReg.com. More information concerning tracking and uploading your rides will be provided prior to the ride.
This ride is sponsored by the Flemington Jewish Community Center ("FJCC").
